- Allen Meadows -the bottle tasted in October 2018 was perfumed and spicy with still relatively primary aromas of both red and dark berry fruit trimmed in sandalwood hints. I like the sense of energy to the solidly concentrated medium-bodied flavors that are supported by mildly edgy tannins that detract somewhat from the overall sense of refinement. However, time may eventually take the edge off the finsh as the tannins resolve so there is still hope.
