- Allen Meadows -A distinctly airy, cool and pure mix is comprised by aromas of red currant, earth and game that exhibits discreet floral and wood nuances. There is both fine volume and intensity to the punchy middle weight flavors that are more refined than usual thanks to the fine grain of the supporting tannins on the attractively well-balanced and persistent if still linear finish. Not surprisingly, this is sufficiently firm to require at least another 5 years of cellaring and another 10 would not surprise me.
