- Allen Meadows -Relatively generous wood and vanilla influences can be found on the essence of pear liqueur aromas that are cut by hints of hazelnut and soft spice wisps. There is a lovely sense of tension as well as fine detail to the lightly stony flavors that culminate in a zest-inflected and very dry finish where the wood resurfaces. This is not especially concentrated but once the oak is better integrated, it should make for lovely drinking.
