- Allen Meadows -A deft touch of wood sets off aromas of red and blue pinot fruit, earth, humus and subtle spice notes. There is a lovely coolness to the pure and well-detailed middle weight flavors that possess good ripeness of the supporting tannins, all wrapped in a mildly austere and balanced finish. This is very Gevrey in character but there is a sense of refinement as well as the structure is finely grained.
