- Neal Martin -The Petrus 1985 has always been a perplexing wine and tasted against Le Pin 1985, well, it only illuminates with it is missing. There is something rather staid about the aromatics, as if they know what to do but don't want to do it. There are pleasant scents of summer fruit and cigar box, but they remain stuck in second gear. The palate is better with fine tannins
