- Neal Martin - Disgorged October 2010, the 1999 Salon is the 37th vintage of this famous Blanc de Blancs from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. With 5gms/L dosage, it has a light mousse in the glass. As expected, the bouquet is beautifully defined with hints of white truffle and cold limestone. There is wonderful mineralite on the tense, poised palate and is perhaps less “Zen-like” than the 1996 with just a suggestion of brioche towards the finish. This is a class act for sure.
