- Allen Meadows - Sweet spot. OUTSTANDING ! This is the first wine to display any appreciable reduction and here it's enough to knock down the underlying fruit. Otherwise, and somewhat surprisingly, there isn't quite the same mid-palate density to the delicious medium weight flavors that also exude an attractive minerality on the tension-filled, sappy and beautifully long finish. Based on this wine's impressive track record, I suspect that it will add body and richness with age.
